    Maxxis tubeless ready?

Is Maxxis planning on releasing tubeless ready tires? I used to run Maxxis tires and liked them but don't feel comfortable running their exo tires tubeless.

It would be great if all their Exo tires came tubeless ready.

    Any info would greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

It's in the works. Some pictures from Interbike / Eurobike have been published. Development is just moving at a snail's pace, right now ;-)

Recently saw an addition in QBP stating Maxxis tires warranty is void if using sealants. Iv'e been running HR 2.3 60 Exxon pro tubeless converted for years no issues. However, I do have seen a few Ignitors and recently one Advantage I had in 2.1 Silkworm EXO, bubble up.

So, which ones are to blame? Are tubeless Maxxis not to be used with sealants? Searched the Tire warranty in the Maxxis site, and they don't mention the sealant exclusion.

I was gonna get a 2.2 Advantage and 2.2 Ardent's, but I'm afraid now that they may bubble up.

I had a Maxxis Crossmark bubble up this summer. Tire was about two months old. I contact Maxxis they emailed me a prepaid shipping label looked at the tire and sent me a replacement. Took a couple weeks but I was happy with their service. I received email updates every so often. I am Impressed with the company.

Shame on you for making me double check! (I revised the warranty several years ago.) Check 'exclusions', #3.

I had a Ikon bubble up and Maxxis replaced it under warranty. I did not know that you were not supposed to run sealant until reading these threads and checking Maxxis website. It does not say anything on the package the tire comes in. If Maxxis keeps replacing the defective tires I will keep buying them, but if they quit I will be moving on to a different brand.

I've run an Ardent EXO 2.25 ghetto tubeless for more than a year with no issues. Looking around now trying to figure out what to replace it with. Or just order another Ardent EXO.
