maxis Icon EXO & Mavic 717 rims? Good Tubeless combo?

I wanted to run Maxxis Icon EXO tires and mavic xc717 rims tubeless. Is this a reliable setup? Should I use Stans or is there a better flavor for that combo?

I know its not much help, but what I can tell you is that the Maxxis Ikon EXO tire works very well tubeless using Stans. I have that tire, in 29er version, on the back of my KarateMonkey and its been great. Sorry couldnt offer more help on the rim.
