    Mavic's SLR or i9 Ultralite

I've owned both ( Mavic's on my 26 and i9 on my 29er) and can't decided what to get...( I'm rebuilding my 26 FS...)

Cast your vote and please give some input...I love both wheels so much I really can't decide...

I had an older pair of Slr"s. Good wheel, not super stiff but good enough for most users.. Now I have not ridden the ultralights but I own a set of the all mountain i9 wheels and there are stiff and strong. Let me give you an example, 3-4 weeks ago i shorted a jump and landed on the front end. I bent my 32 fox fork back almost 2 inches. Front wheel impact. Frame was good as was the front wheel. I am about 220 lbs. yes it was a hard frontal hit. No damage to the wheel. The Spokes are stiff but can break via direct impact but have not happened to me yet. They use a hardened 6160 ht spoke and it's really stiff. The ultra lights are very light but have a 185 pound limit I believe so I don't know strong that set up is. The i9 hubs are 10 times better than the Mavic's.
