New question here. Mavic CrossRide tire size?

    Hi everyone,

I just got a set of Mavic CrossRides, I'm very happy with them.

The Mavic manual seems to state that the widest tire they recommend is 1.95. I have tires that are 2.1.

So my question is: is it okay to put 2.1 tires on these rims? The Mavic website was useless.

    Thanks!

Mavic is VERY conservative with their max tire width recommendations. You can use whatever width tire you want. I would have no issues going to a 2.5" tire.

The trouble with common sense is it is no longer common
