Mavic Crossline 12mm to 10mm adapters

I bought a set of Mavic Crossline wheels and I wanted to put a 10mm quick release at the rear wheel. So I also got a set of these 12mm to 10mm reducers

The think is that they won't fit inside the rear hub...
I removed the standard 12mm to 9mm QR adapters that where on the hub when it came from the shop and tried to fit the 12 to 10 with no luck. I measured the outer diameter of the adapter and it is 12,9mm
I called our local Mavic representative to check another set and measure it but he told me that it is 12,9mm also. It is impossible to fit in a hub that it is 12mm diameter....

Am I doing something wrong? Does anyone ever done the same with Mavic wheels?

I have just got mine and they have the same problem

The ID of the hub is 12 mm to fit a 12 mm axle as you would expect

But the adapters are 13 mm OD. How do these work

    They just don't!
No word from Mavic about this. My local distr. couldn't find a solution...
I just got a 12mm to 10mm QR axle and solved my problem!

    Just what I thought

I'll machine up my own adapters

I expect a refund from the shop for these little rip offs

    Thanks for the reply
