    Light-Bicycle New 650b 30mm Hookless - should I be concerned?

Hi All - Im building up an enduro 27.5! It will be my first custom wheelset. I planned on using the 35mm wide hookless by Light-Bicycle. However, my wheel shop said at my small size/weight (120lb), I would really benefit at the reduced rotational weight of a XC rim, over any advantages of a really wide rim 35/40mm.

I just asked Light-Bicycle and they are coming out with a 30mm hookless next week! Question to you guys, (I'm new to this), is 30mm still "wide"? And is there any concerns around setting up tubeless for a slimmer hookless rim - like 30mm? I know I've read zero complaints of 35/40, actually members praising how easy it is! Just want to make sure it's okay, esp since it's a new product for them.

    Thanks!
    Michelle

I run the hooked version and do not hold back my riding.
I weigh in at 180lbs before gear, and have done a Whistler park day with no worries.
I would like to get the hookless version and give my wheel set to my wife (which would lighten up her ride) and build up a set for my self.
