IRC Mythos tires - can I go tubeless?

I have Breezer single speed with IRC Mythos tires (folding with Kevlar) and want to convert over to tubeless using Stans No Tubes conversion. I looked on the Stans site and they list IRC tires as not recommended. Anybody know about this or used IRC Mythos tires as tubeless? Will they work?

The rims are Richey Expert Vantage with XT hubs, probably 10-15 years old.
    Thanks for your advice.

I've run 2.1 folding blackwall Mibro's tubeless for several months and didn't have any problems. That was on Mavic 317's set up ghetto with the cut 20" inner tubes for rim strips. Needed a compressor to seal them up, but they didn't leak at all using Stan's.

The IRC's small volume and light casing makes them less than ideal as tubeless tyres though - I couldn't run them much softer than I could with tubes due to casing wallow.

I've converted IRC Mythos twice. First time in 2003 on a Mavic UST rim, they folded over easily and had a couple burps...finally a sidewall cut (from folding) killed the front one.

I converted a set of 29er Wire Beads using WTB rims and Gorilla Tape and had none of the problems I had previously.

I would probably skip those tires, or use the split tube method to seal the bead good to prevent burping.

Thanks for the heads up, sound like I will buy new tires and skip the soft sidewall Mythos IRC tires.
