    Hutchinson Cobra F&R?

Looking for some new rubber to tackle the hardpack, gravel, and rocky terrain in and around Austin, TX. Fast-rolling is key...

Looking at the Hutchinson Cobra and the tire seems to have rave reviews for the rear. Unfortunately, not much is said about how it works on the front. I was looking at the new 2011 Michelin Race'R, but can't seem to find that new tread design on sale yet.

Anyone use the Cobra up front? If not, what's another good option for a fast-rolling front?

    Thx in advance!

Those Cobras are a little small for the stated size, just so you know.

Couldn't wait any longer (garbage Bontrager OEM tires kept washing out and roll like a tank) so I stopped by Performance on my way home after my ride. I was surprised they had Kenda Slant Six tires in stock! (hard to find in stock online)

Picked up two and will be giving them a shot F&R this weekend. Crossing my fingers!

Ordered the tubeless ready lightest Cobras... I'll let you know when they've arrived.
