Hope Pro II Maverick 24mm axle conversion

I would like to build a 29er wheel with 36 spokes for a Maverick DUC 32 but the Maverick hubs are only available in 32 hole. The Hope Pro II come in 36 hole and have Maverick axle conversion option. Anyone know how much the Hope Pro II Maverick 24mm axle conversion cost? Anyone have experience with this axle conversion?

I have two Pro II wheels set up for Mav forks. I don't recall what the axles cost. They work fine. You just need to to remove the 9mm axle or 20mm end caps, pass the two halves of the 24mm axle into the hub, and grab really big crescent wrenches to crank the axle halves down against each other. Nothing really mysterious about them. A solid hub and a solid axle overall. Smooth and easy to repack. I also have a King hub converted to 24mm Mav. Now that's a niiiiiice hub...

Just as tscheezy said, simple process. Suggested retail on the kit is $32.

If you build the wheel with the kit installed, no problem. If you build with the qr caps installed and then install the kit, the wheel will have to be re-dished.

Hum, I was not aware of the need for a redish. Will going from 20mm axle cups to 24mm axle require a re-dish as well?

Yep, I think so. I believe I remember doing this myself as I had 20mm adapters for the hub and my stand when I built the wheel, but no good way of mounting the Mav 24 in my stand directly.
