Bonking ... not feelin' well Hope Pro II was making that tell-tale "PANG--grind grind" under power

My hub is 3 months old. I pulled her apart for the first time (which could not have been any easier ), and sure enough a broken pawl spring. Drat. I hope Hope will come through and keep me from being down too long over the Thanksgiving break. It's still super nice in S. Texas, and I was hoping to get a few good rides in.

Does anyone know if I can run three pawls without damaging the hub?

Hope responded to my email in 1 1/2 hours. They are sending me some springs today, free of charge.

I wish all companies had that kind of customer service.

Yeah, sorry. I thought that was obvious. It's the rear. Wanna see a picture from my camera phone?

I can't help but laugh on that one

I have said things like that before without thinking and my friends pick up on it fast!
