Geax Saguaro vs Panaracer CG XC in Sedona?

Heading to Sedona in 3 weeks for a 4 day weekend. I have a Santa Cruz Tallboy that I'm currently running Schwalbe Nobby Nic up front and a Geax Saguaro out back. I like this set-up but both tires need replacement soon. I just happen to have (2) Panaracer CG XC tires and (1) Geax Sagauro hanging in my garage.

I'm looking for some input on what set-up to run in Sedona....CG front and back/ or if I mix them up, which tire in front vs back? Thanks...

I found the Saguaro to be a bit "slick" on the rock.

The CG XC is much better. I would (and have) use the Panaracer on both ends.

The trouble with common sense is it is no longer common

Do the Panaracer on both ends. For general xc riding (not racing) in dry its about as good as it gets for a combination of speed and traction on all sorts of dirt and rock, front and rear. The Saguaro uses hard rubber and the knobs are too small for really good traction on rock.

Thanks, I'll give it a shot with the Panaracers on front and back...
