    Front and Rear Tire Upgrade

    Hi all,

I just bought my first real mountain bike, itís a Norco Charger that came with WTB MX21 29" DW Rims, and 2.25 wtb nineline tires. I was going to set it up tubeless before I even took it out of the shop, but the guys there forgot to do it, and I was too excited to leave it there for another day.

Iím looking for some suggestions about my next course of action. Should I just go ahead and take it back to the shop and have them convert both existing tires to tubeless? Should I attempt to convert the existing tires to tubeless myself? Or should I upgrade the tires first and have them install the new tires tubeless?

If option 3, what would you recommend for a front and back tire? Thereís not a lot of room to go much bigger in the rear, but thereís lots of room up front. Most of the local trails are full of roots and rocks, and Iím not really looking for speed as much as traction.

I apologize if I havenít given enough information, if you need more let me know and thanks in advance for the help.

Maxxis Minion DHF up front & Maxxis Agressor in the rear. My new favorite tire combo.
