    Folding tires for storage

Hi, I have 2 sets of tyres lying around (for different parts of the year) and is it OK to fold them back up after being used? The same way that some come packaged?
    Like so: http://planetcyclery.com/media/catal...gRalph26x2.jpg

They might be stored for over half a year or longer, so just curious if I should worry about deforming, cracking, etc.
Should they be folded a special way?

    Thanks!

Personal opinion, fine to store folded, but if you're going to try to mount the tubeless, it's nice to have the folds taken out of the bead, so I store mine with an inner tube in them to keep them nice and round.

I'm sure it's ok, but I would perform as round a bead as possible for reseating so I hang mine over a walk mount hose mount in the garage.

They are sold that way, which means they could be folded like that for several months or even years. I dont see why it would be a problem to fold them up again and store them. In fact, I do that for all my tires and I have never had a problem re-seating them when mounting again.

    Thanks everyone.
I live in an apartment and don't really have a dedicated bike area, so I'm trying to save space where possible with all the bike equipment.
So I guess there's no probs with folding them up.
