    Fast rolling, lightweight tires?

I'm looking for suggestions for a lightweight (500g) tire that rolls fast and would have decent traction on hard packed trails. I won't be using them in rocky or muddy conditions. I was thinking about Maxxis ignitors, thoughts? Thanks.

Kenda Karmas are great. Conti race king is another good choice. Schwalbe XC anything.

for the Conti Race King. The 2.2 Supersonic version of the RK is superlight, has huge volume, and is really fast. Just make sure to run it below 30 psi and it has excellent traction as well.

Ralphs are fast... No doubt about it. Weight - you gotta be REAL careful. After some personal experiences, I'd say only get Schwalbes if you can find them locally and weigh them before buying... Way too much weight variance in them.

Kenda Small Block 8 is also quite a good roller... 2.1 is about 515g, 1.95 is 475g

WTB wolverine would be perfect. Great traction, pretty light and roll super fast. Also a pretty high volume tire. http://www.wtb.com/products/tires/xcracing/wolverine/

I never considered the wolverines, they look sweet! Those Schwalbes are pricey, I hope they last a long time for that kind of loot. My bike is a 26r and I don't race it. Thanks for the suggestions!

Stans Raven 2.2"...light, fast rolling, and surprising amounts of traction (at least in the 29er version).

Give the Maxxis monorail a try, i just installed a 2.1 exception series, 490g, light, plenty of grip, rolls fast!

Ritchey "Intuition" and "Z-max". Either one. Kenda Karmas are pretty good, but on the front, in certain conditions, it is far from confidence inspiring!
