Enve 29'er carbon XC rims cosmetic question

These rims are fairly new and I noticed some slight lines around and near the ridge of the spoke holes. Here's an attached image of what I'm seeing. I'll be contacting Enve to see if this normal or not, but in the meantime I thought I would ask the MTBR folks . Looking at their process I could see where lines such as this could happen.

Looks like flash from the molding process.

Have see this on quite a few of the ENVE rims I've built up. Would say it is normal.

My reynolds wheels had those as well. I think that's normal for carbon rims.

Mold marks. It's on pretty much every uni-directional rim I've seen. If you don't like it you can put a little black shoe polish and buff it out.

Thanks guys. The cosmetics do not bother me a bit, I'm a function type of guy . I was just a bit surprised that they looked that way. My carbon Roval's still look new without a single blemish.

Have you felt any noticeable differences between the Rovals and Enves?
