    Easton havoc DH hub maintenece

I want to get the bearings out bit am stuck as to where to go from here. I have removed both end caps and the freehub. I have hit both sides with the mallet but it has not budged, any feedback would be appreciated!

I have a little side to side play, will that significantly damage the rotor and pads? I am wondering if I should just leave it and ride on.

The hub assembly diagram here shows a retaining ring, did you get that off?
