DT Swiss 340-xc-disk wheelset - any experience?

    Hi,

recently been thinking about http://www.dtswiss-us.com/340-xc-disc.htm - this wheelset.
seems that it is a quality build by dt swiss...

any experience with this set? good? bad? build quality?

    thanks !

    Oren.

I've used the rims and they have a very good strength to weight ratio. They held up well to rough XC rides and some endurance racing.

I believe that the upper end Bontrager wheels use that hubset and have gotten good reviews for durability and smoothness.

that is what ships on a lot of the Santa Cruz bikes - Heckler, Nomad etc. I've got em on my new Heckler, but too soon to give you any real feedback. On paper, they are a good setup.

I ride these. They came stock on my Santa Cruz BLT. The hub is nice quality and I have had no serious issues with the wheels. They're not spectacular but also not anywhere near bad. I am 220 with gear and find them to be a bit on the flexy side. If you get a good deal, I say go for it.
