    DT Swiss 240s rear hub w/ 10mm through axle...converting to 142x12

I have a DT Swiss 240s rear hub. It had the chrome and red cross stickers, that I removed some time ago. It's also been converted to the 10mm RWS through skewer on the rear. To convert this hub to 12x142 do I need to just get the correct end caps? That's what I was gathering on the wheelbuilder.com website. I would obviously not want to buy the axle and skewer if I don't have to.

Thanks in advance. The frame it's going on (Salsa Horsethief) uses the 142x12 Maxle Lite (Rockshox) that is provided with the frame.

according to universalcycles.com you'll need the axle as well for your pre-2010 hub.
