DT SWiss 240 wheel set- scrap the 26 rima and build 29er?

I have a 26er wheelset that i'm not using, but its in good shape. Dt Swiss 240s hubs (oversize in the front) on 5.1 rims. Would it make sense to scrap the rims in order to build a 29er wheelset with these hubs?
    .
Just thinking I MAY be able to sell the wheelset for $300, but would spend more than that on a good set of hubs/rims for the 29er.

    Any thoughts? Thanks!

I'd disassemble the 26er rims and spokes, save them, and rebuild your wheel set with 29er rims and longer spokes.
Hey everybody, ride my wheels! They ride good, real good.
I'm a wheel builder. SRLPE Wheel Works. Send me a PM.

Since you have the OS front hub I think you should use the hubs for another build.
