DT Swiss 190 freehub bearing swap? Campy-->Shimano

Hey I just bought a great custom made wheelset with 190 hubs. Only problem is the freehub body is campy splined. I want to buy a cheap used shimano splined freehub body and then purchase/install the hybrid ceramic bearings separately. Mainly because a new 190 freehub body costs $350.

Anyone know if I can simply swap the bearings that are currently in my campy body into the empty shimano splined body? Or is that worthless, even after using a proper bearing puller/press?

    Thanks!

Shouldn't be a problem. The only thing "Campy" about the DT Campy freehub body is the spline configuration. From what I recall the bearings are the same.

Well I didn't end up swapping the bearings. I found a used shimano freehub body with ceramics for a good price. anyone need a campy 190 freehub body?
