Disc hubs on Shimano M540 wheelset

Okay, so I got this M540 wheelset on my bike with rim brakes set up. I was just curious if it would be possible to put some disc hubs on this type of rim and if so which ones cuz it only has 16 holes. Can a rim brake rim be used for disc brakes or is their a difference in the structure? Just curious, like the TV commercial says, "The More You Know"

Just get a new disc wheelset. "System" wheelsets are designed to be used only as designed. Swapping in different parts usually is not an option.

Shimano's disc wheelsets use more spokes, different hubs and different rims.

The trouble with common sense is it is no longer common
