    Crossmax Sl Disc tubeless question

I just bought a Giant Anthem 0 with Mavic Crossmax SL disc wheels. It came with Michelin XC Dry2 tires, which work well at my local trails, which are hardpacked and dry usually. I may give tubeless tires a try to see what they are all about, what tubeless tires would work well for those conditions, and still be as light at possible? Would I need to run some type of sealant, I don't know if it is possible to not use sealant, but I guess I would rather not. I appreciate your help, this is my first time having UST wheels!!!!

If the trails are consistently hardpack and dry a tire like the IRC Mibro 2.1 UST are light, roll very fast and has a predictable break away, but they are not great in the wet, or even the damp on smooth surfaces.
