New question here. crossmark 29er side wall cut and stans

Has anyone ever successfully patched a side wall cut, right at the bead.
I am running stans 355 29er rims tube less.
The maxis crossmarks are just about new and I hate to throw them away.

    Not safe place to patch.

Sounds like you pinch flatted the tire.

I have patched sidewall cuts about 3/8" from the bead edge. Had no problem. I think less than that is to risky.

3/8" is a long way from "right at the bead."
