The site lists 142x12 support. If you could get some axle caps made or file down the 3.5mm per side of the 142 axle caps they'd work.

To be honest, I have a set of cobalts and I don't find them to be anything special. Get a more standard wheelset, when you break a spoke you'll be hapy to be able to walk into any shop and get one, instead of ordering from crankbrothers.

They don't offer that as an option. I have been asking about 135x10 for RWS or Bolt. No go.
I crashed hard enough on my Tallboy to break my leg,
The carbon is way more durable than most people.

I don't know if this helps or not, but I just picked up a set of Iodine 2 wheels (20x110 fr / 12x142 rr) for my Solstice mountain bike which uses a 12x135mm thru-axle rear. Crank Brothers makes what they call a next generation rear hub adapter ($40) which converts the 12x142 to a 12x135. The adapters are available online through CB's website ( ++ mountain bike components, pedals, wheels, stems, tools :: crankbrothers.com ++ ), or you can give them a call at 949-464-9916...
