Continental Mountain/Trail Kings (Folding) and Stans Flows - Tubeless

Anyone use these setups and how do they hold up with flows/flow ex rims set up tubeless? Long story short but I have a Flow in the front and a Flow EX in the rear. Thinking of grabbing a set of Mountain or Trail kings to run since Price point is having a tire sale. Any preference in the set up of these two tires (Front or rear)?
I would follow you into the mists of Avalon if that's what you mean.

If all else fails, I blame it on my tiny wheel size

Continental Mountain/Trail Kings (Folding) and Stans Flows - Tubeless

I've used Mountain King II's (Protection) with Stan's on Shimano UST rims. Held air well. Just didn't like the treads for where I ride.

Trail Kings tried those too with Stan's. Same UST rims. Much harder to get to seal up. Leak down more than Mountain Kings. Awesome tread. I wasn't comfortable with how they leaked down.

Switched true UST set with Maxxis High Rollers 2.35 UST.

I run this exact combination. 2.4RQ/TK on a the front and 2.2 TK on the rear. Both with Flows and recently rebuilt the rear with a Flow EX. I've never had problems with the front but couldn't get the non-UST to stop burping on the rear. The last two years I've been running the UST which is a bit heavier but doesn't squirm or burp.

Great tires for the riding I do. The only drawback is that despite being fairly durable they start to weep the sealant. And eventually the casing bubbles but I've only with the UST. Odd but by then I'm ready tfor new tread anyway.

Continental "Protection" tires are tubeless ready, probably the reason the Mountain Kings did fine tubeless and the Trail Kings did not.
Single and loving it (single speed bike that is)
