    Chris King Fun Bolts-Trail Removal

What exactly are you carrying in the woods, in case of flatting the rear? I have a feeling the standard 8mm L-Allen is not going to cut it, considering the 25ft-lbs they are tightened to.
Civilization ends at the waterline. Beyond that, we all enter the food chain, and not always right at the top.

You should be able to crack those with the 8mm on a compact multi-tool, especially if you put a little grease (or anti seize) on the threads. Try it at home and see.

Before you head out, make sure your trail tools are sufficient to do the job. I use a standard 8mm allen key on my fun bolts.

Standard 8mm Allen works for me. My compact multi-tool, however, doesn't work so well. As such, I put the 8mm in my pack if I'm on that bike.
