    Butcher 2.8 Is VG

I mounted a pair of big S 2.8 Butcher Grids on my 40mm internal 650b+ wheels and have been riding them on a steel hardtail. I don't know how much they weigh, they measure 68mm, so not quite 2.8. They do however provide a poop load of traction and roll very well.
I got some bad ideas in my head.

Would they fit in a Knolly Warden? How wide are the rims? Think a 29 id rim would make the tire to round?

They just barely fit my Warden, but they will rub. I'm sure the tires will be too round on a 29mm rim, mine are 40mm.
