    Bikehand Truing Stand Help Needed

    Hi Guys,

I have the Bikehand Park clone truing stand. My idiot military movers lost the lower adjustment knob which renders the truing stand into a door stop.

Does anybody know if Bikehand has a replacement parts service for their tools?

If not, I need to come up with my own DIY replacement.

    Suggestions?

    Thanks!
    G

i would try to contact them directly. bike hand. i don't see a spare parts/replacement parts section on their website.

otherwise i would take it to a hardware store and keep trying threaded bolts until you find one that works. then just make your own knob.

I have contacted Bikehand. So far it's been crickets.

One can buy replacement knobs online. I am researching the proper knob to fit to a screw. Any suggestions? Looking at Grainger it isn't crystal clear to me how to mate the proper screw to a proper knob (my own ignorance).

    Thanks!

Take it to your local hardware store and figure out the thread size and length. If they don't have anything the link above will

depending on the knob you pick there is probably a few different ways to attach the two.

first you need to determine the bolt size and thread pitch etc. which you can't do online. easiest way is probably just to take it to Grainger or hardware store or someplace with a lot of bolts and just use trial and error. they may even carry knobs that will easily attach?
