    Arrow Ramped Bite sidewalls

i just got a tire, Arrow Ramped Bite, 2.5 slow react rubber tire.

it's stiffer than most any other tire i've tried, even intenses. Anyway, it's got an extra lip on the sidewall that hugs the rim. it's really pretty sick. but one small part of the tire is buried under the edge of the rim and refuses to pop out, like typical tires do after a short ride.

any way to help it out? other than using some soap suds and reinstalling?

sorry, no pics, i'm pretty beat and buzzed right now.

Try droping the pressure until you can budge the bead (on that tire probably to around 10psi), and twist the tire *away* from that spot, to see if it will pop up. Squirt some water in if it still sticks.

Sometimes, just pumping the tire way up (50psi) will pop the bead into place, but I have also popped tubes that way, if the low spot causes the bead to lift off the rim in another spot.
