    Alloy vs. Carbon

I currently am using Stan's Arch Ex for my Santa Cruz Tallboy LTc. I'm considering purchasing Enve AMs. The weight difference is about 150 grams for the set. I'm not sure that the weight savings alone is worth the cost. Are there any other improvements to the ride that I would notice by making this upgrade? Are any other carbon wheels worth considering?

    Alloy vs. Carbon

Carbon wheels are also generally stiffer and more durable. If you do a search there is a great deal of feedback on the enve wheels.

The Envy AM 29er wheels are crazy stiff. You will notice it in acceleration, cornering and over sharp hits.

    Alloy vs. Carbon

I ride a Yeti SB-95 and built of Flow EX/Chris King last fall. Solid setup but are not quite as stiff as I was hoping. After riding a friends TB lt with Enve AM I ordered up a pair. Unfortunately they are 4-5 weeks out for delivery so mid-late June for delivery/report. I also considered both Torch and C Haven options but am partial to CK hubs.
