wondering if lacing a 32h mustang to a 36h xt with every 9th hole skipped will compromise the integrity of the wheel. the wheel is for xc riding and i'm fairly light at 145 lbs. thanks.

Not worth the trouble. It may be strong enough but you will have a hard time figuring out the spoke lengths and which spoke holes to skip. I are better off matching the rim and hub.
yeah i realized those 4 holes will be on both flanges, two each, so it's gonna be a real pain. guess i'll just get some matching rims or hubs. thanks.
