    Powell River trip

I am heading out to Powell River for a few days and was wondering about te trails. I have found plenty of trail maps and locations but I haven't found a lot for how much climbing there is on the trails. I am asking because I was wondering if I should bring my single speed or my geared bike.

Bring your geared bike. Powell River riding rocks! There is a keen group over there who are hapy to show out of towners the goods. The BCBR course there touches on all the nectar, I would imagine that it wold be pretty easy to follow that route for an epic ride..If not hit up the local club for an e-mail and let them know you're coming to town. Good luck and enjoy the PR!

The only place I could really find any vertical info was on the BCBR page for day 3. Is there anywhere else that has it? Maybe some trail descriptions with ratings? My wife wants to come one day and I would have to find the more 'friendly' types of trails to bring her along.

I would like to hit up the BCBR course over a couple days as this isn't a scheduled bike vacation, just planning to sneak as much as I can in!

Awesome, I am from Powell River, I spent my youth there and left in '90, they have some great places to ride.
