Fernie, British Columbia – July 27, 2009 – Fernie Alpine Resort is proud to announce the new members of the 2009 MTB Freeride Team. The selected members chosen to represent the resort on the circuit are: Conrad Spring, Luke Nelson, Matt Harris, and Luke Stevens. Our athletes are already ripping it up and making us proud with their fantastic race results.

Fernie’s mountain bike scene has been developing over the years and is becoming highly renowned for its varied terrain both in-resort and on local backcountry trails as well as unique bike park features. The area draws many national mountain bike athletes and we are proud to have four excellent riders represent the resort in their home town of Fernie.
