    Wheelset assist

Hello guys i own a CUBE*Reaction GTC SL 26 i changed lots of things and my main problem is the wheelset.
DT SWISS CSW MA 1.0 is ruining my total overall weight and ofc my max speed.
Cash wise i am kinda short due i allready changed lots of stuff.
Need your advice about spending max 700 euro on a wheelset or hubs-rims-spokes separately.

Hard to find exact weights on those DT wheels, but the 29" version is 2kg, so the 26" version is likely 1800gms.

DT Swiss XM1550 would be about 1550gms and about 700 Euros

Mavic Crossmax ST would be 1590gms for less than 700 Euros

XTR Race wheels would be about 1560gms for about 700 Euros

Unless you have a mechanic following you around, tubulars on a bike without a tech zone for race support is not really practical. Flat repair is just not a simple trail side activity. Clinchers are a better choice.

The American Classic and Stan's wheels are reasonable choices. You don't mention what you weigh, if you're over 80kg, those light wheels might feel a bit flexy at times. In fact the Stan's are only rated for a 170 pound (77kg) rider
