What size are Hayes brake bolts? Ti Question

I counted 14 bolts between the two Hayes mechanical calipers, I figured that I could significatly lighten my calipers by going with all Ti mounting hardware. Only problem is, I have no idea what size the bolts are, so does anyone else know? Also would I have to use Ti prep on the bolts or is a good coating of grease good enough?

You can save even more by using some good aerospace spec 7075 alum for certain bolts. Of course these are the Hydros. Usually most brakes use 6mm x 15mm(the 2 shiny ti frame bolts shown here as is the 2 blue alum caliper to adaper bolts)for the frame bolts. The longer caliper breakdown bolts are 6m x 25mm, FWIW. Up front I use ti for all but the breakdown bolts, at least for this ride. The race bike is all alum with B4s. Even use alum for some of my Avids bolts up front.

Also note the use of a smaller(lighter)140mm rear disc. Just run the front frame to caliper mount in the back. Presto.

    racebolts.com is the place.

    Enjoy..

Thanks a bundle for the link and the advice. I guess I could have measured them, duh! Just did and your right, they are 6mm. Thanks

So I went to that site and ordered a ton of bolts I got all Ti bolts for the calipers and mounts and then I got all aluminum bolts for the rotors. Then I got aluminum bottle bolts, front derailer bolts and stem bolts (don't know how they will hold up, but I thought I'd try them)
