    Weight of Hayes Mud Cutter Rotors?

    Anyone know the weight of these rotors? Considering upgrading my avids...

    While those rotors are very nice ( I think Hayes licensed the design from Galfer), they are still steel rotors of approximately the same diameter, so I would not expect them to be significantly lighter. I think the big brand steel disc rotors are all pretty close in weight, with possibly the Magura Marta SL wavy rotor being lighter by a small margin.

    There is a set of Stan's Al rotors for sale on Ebay that could make a much bigger difference in your rotor weight. Here is the link:
