Stem - Easton EA90 vs. Syntace Force 119

Which of the two stems do you recommend - I weigh 175 lbs and donīt do more than 2 feet drops. And do you know if there are any wideness limit of the bar? I will put a 31.8 riser on it. My current stem i as Thomsom X4 - how noticealble is the difference in stiffness compared to the ligther stems?

the faceplate of the easton is little beefier, although the quality of the two is equal. ive owned and raced on all three and can tell you that the thomson has a notibably stiffer feel as far as handlebar deflection when compared to my syntace (both 31.8, same easton handlebar).
if its a pure XC race bike id say get the whichever is cheapest, if you were building a more am/trail bike id tell you to stick with the thomson
