    Stans ZTR wheelset pictures wanted!

Could any of you post some pictures of your ZTR wheels. It will help me make my decision on a set I am going to have built. I'd love to see some close ups as well. I've never seen the Sapim's in a build just in a drawing.

Here is what I am considering.

    Stans ZTR Olympic rims
    Chris King ISO disc hubs
DT Swiss Revo's, Super comp's, or Sapim CX-Ray's
    Stans yellow tape.

Man you got it bad. But, I guess I've been the same way more then once.

Mine have the earlier yeller stickers. If it wern't for the stickers tho, they could be VXC or 717s and ya wouldn't know the diff in a pic. Weights were 344,348gms for the rims. 1443gms total. Lazerlites, Supercomps, alum nips. Yeller tape only. Been flawless after a full season of racing. 170lb.

Duck, you have some seriously low rotational mass going on there. That's got to feel pretty nice

Have you had any problems at all with Twister SS and running tubeless?

Old guys like me need all the help we can get.

On the Contis...no problems thats the tires fault amazingly. I've raced them off and on tubeless since mid 04 totaling prolly aprox 10-12 xc races, Tsali 12 hour(we placed 2nd coed), tons of TTs, plus the Firewater 50(actually 43 miles tho), which is a rockfest thru half of it. The only problem ever with the Twister was my one blowoff ever to date. But, thats because I'd just over inflated the tire(just had added more sealant) and then forgetting about it, then letting it sit in the sun. Duh. When it happened was during riders meeting at the Tsali 12hr last season. I was sitting on the top tube amongst like 300+ racers listening and "BLAMMO!!"...it goes. Everyone turns around looking for what in hell all the noise was. I didn't flinch tho, so most looked past me. Cept for that tire now off the rim laying sideways inside my fork...

Here is my new front. Its the Olympic 347 Rim, removed the stickers as they look like they were gonna come off as soon as they got wet anyway.

Weighs in at 658g On a DT240s Sapim CX-Rays, Valved and Taped.

Its first ride is this weekend.
