SRAM XX XG-1099 cassette weight (actual)

I received the SRAM XX XG-1099 11-36T cassette as a gift.

I put it on the scale and it came in at 210 grams I haven't installed it yet, but my stock cassette is around 400 grams (yeah its a beast). So this little guy is going to save me 190 grams of rotational weight!

The rotating weight seems minimal. But on an fs it's more unsprung weight.

I have the XO (XG1080) cassette which weighed in at 238gms. The stock cassette (PG1030) was 497grams. I never got to feel the difference however as I bought the bike new and made a deal on the upgrade. Also upgraded the crankset to XO.

    Every bit helps!

I've had the bike since early september, put about 1100km on it. I ride hard and can be pretty brutal with gear shifts. Zero problems with any of the drive train. Don't like my SLX shifters very much but that is a different story.....

So far I've put only about a couple of hundred miles on my cassette. It's on my carbon fiber wheelset so it doesn't get used everyday which is why I don't have much mileage on it. But I have zero problems with it.
