firstly thanks for taking the time to weigh & document everything in pictures

regarding the fox fork, is that weight for the 100mm fork & with a uncut fork steerer?

When I received my 2015 pivot mach 4 in november 2015 the bike came with 2016 FOX factory 34MM FIT4 120mm fork. I told them I wanted the 32mm fork for weight saving reasons. They let me take the bike home and mailed me the 32mm 2016 FOX factory 120mm FIT4 fork. I could not believe the weight difference. Weighed with 2 different scales, one a fairly accurate Chinese scale and the other was the park tools scale. 32mm weighed 1770g & 1795g, identical fork but 34mm weighed with same stock thru axle as with 32mm 1805g and 1810g.
Lets just say that I am rocking the 34mm fork with no regrets.

The orange decals was the 32mm, blue is 34mm. Just some WW FYI I found shocking.

thanks for the info. yes the new 34 fork is pretty light, given how stiff & capable it is. I went from a 36 talas to a 34 float & lost nearly 2/3lb on my long travel bike.

I was curious to see the actual weight of the outgoing 32 float 29er fork, as I'm waiting for the new 32sc fork (& I forgot to weigh my current fork when I installed it...)

Looking good so far but did you weigh the bike with grips and pedals (ready to ride)? Looks like your brake/shifter lines are about 6" too long unless you do bar spins when jumping or some flat land tricks ;?0 Yes, your wheels are very heavy (are these 29 or 27.5")? I rcvd my NOX skyline 27.5/dtswiss 240 about 3 months ago and they weighed in at 1400g (rim tape, valve stems and valve cap). Loving them. Build list when all is complete please.

Lol the pic makes them look very long but left them a little longer for future frame swap not planning on keeping frame for to long rims are 29 if I like the wheel set up I'll get some carbon rims and switch them never had rims this wide grips and pedals coming up

To bring that bike down to 19lbs, you'll need to go single speed, rigid carbon fork, and lighter wheels. At over 2000gr, those are some heavy wheels for a "weight weenie" bike.

Weigh the bike again when it's ready to ride. No cheater weighing.

when I looked into Fox compatible 15QR lighter axles, the Fox Kabolt was 1 of the cheaper options. I use 1 on my bigger travel bike & it works fine. I did previously use a Tune carbon 15QR axle, but it was a little temperamental, IE the lever wouldnt always close at the same spot
