Sneak peak of my semi-weight-weenie build!

This is my current build that was meant initially as an electric bike, then "beater" commuter, then somewhere got bitten by the bling bug so it started turning into "how light can I make this bike" and so I think it's gonna be a city ride bike, though not a "lock it and forget about it" sorta bike since I got too many purdy parts on it.

    Just a quick low down.

    2008 Cannondale F7
right now I have Pace RC31 fork
    Thomson X4 stem
Bontrager Race Lite single-speed crankset 32t
Tektro MT 31 magnesium V-brake in the rear (front will be 2009 Avid BB7 with early-year clean sweep rotor)
    carbon spacer and stem cap
Mavic X317 rims with cheapie Shimano M475 hubs
    SRAM PG980 cassette 11-34t
Maxxis Ultra light tubes and Michelin CiTY tires

more carbon and shiny parts to add!

Looks like you could do some serious shaving with your seat/post.

No worries, I have a silver Thomson seatpost with a Trigon carbon seat (plus carbon rails) for it. I'm just using the stock seatpost for putting it on the stand.

Installed Yeti ARC R1 carbon riser bar, rear LX shifter, Avid Ti brake levers, and Titec Pork Rinds yesterday.

Gonna install the front BB7 brake and the Shimano XTR rear derailleur (M950) later.
