Seatpost for SLR Kit Carbonio Flow

I recently acquired a Selle Italia SLR Kit Carbonio Flow saddle, and found that I had a great deal of difficulty clamping it into my Airborne Laidback Ti seatpost. With a lot of filing and sanding, I finally got it to fit, but it still loosens after a few miles of riding.

Does anyone absolutely know of a seatpost that meets these requirements below?

    - Setback design
    - 27.2mm diameter
    - Weighs 192g, or less
    - Firmly and safely holds the Carbonio's rails

    Thanks for your help..................Frank

there's been a few threads on your saddle regarding suitable seatposts:

selle italia slr kit carbonio gel flow saddle

Selle Italia SLR Kit Carbonio Flow Saddle

i'm using a cut 30.9 Syntace P6 & a shimmed 27.2mm WCS single bolt post with Carbonio Flow saddle's with no probs.

    hope that's of help

I don't believe that the Thompson Masterpiece is a setback design, but thanks.

Not sure if that is enough for you as you didn't specify.

Thank-you, one and all, for your help.

I have read the two listed threads (thank-you, culturesponge) and viewed the Thompson listings (thanks, gixer7), and it sure seems like the Thompson Masterpiece will suit my needs just fine. I just need to find out who's selling it.

My apologies to civil. I went to the Thompson website yesterday and could not find the setback model, even though it obviously exists.

    Again, thanks..............Frank

Yep, I've got one in a 30.9 and a 27.2 setback, work well and relatively cheap. Mine came in at 188g for a 350mm length. If you want to weenie it out more, toronto cycles has a Ti bolt kit for it to drop ~10 to 15g.

I picked mine up at chain reaction cycles when they were having a sale. They seem to go on sale every once and awhile at various places.
