So I did this little project last night and posted this up over on the weight weenies forum but figured I share it here as well.

Only took about 2.5 hours (not including the cure time of course) and it came out pretty decent for my first time ever doing something like this. I plan on using it on my road bike as I don't think I trust my work that much to put it on my SS and ride it in the woods. But the simple part of stripping off the leather and padding netted a 30g weight reduction alone and that saddle I would have definitely ridden in the woods since the rails were untouched at that point.
