SDG I-Beam seatpost & saddle; worth it?

Anybody out there using this setup? It looks like some other companies are jumping aboard with this design (KORE, Titec). I'm just wondering if the design is durable enough and just how comfortable the seats are. And I could possibly shave some weight off too. Thanks for any info.

    I'm thinking the same thing...

    Hey scotto,

I've just ordered a sdg saddle and post i-beam combo.

I should save over half a pound with that.

If youre worried about durability then look what a lot of dh'ers are using, thats right, i-beams.

I know some heavy lads who swear by them and the good thing is the adjustability and none of the creek that you sometimes get with conventional railed saddles.

    Cheers.
I don't care if I'm the last to the top and the last to the bottom. Just as long as I look damn good doing it!
