San Marco Era Composite, anyone using?

I just got a San Marco Era Composite saddle and wondering about it's durability and comfort for XC riding and racing. Any one out there using one? I'm 135lbs and pretty easy on equipment, but the saddle does look a bit fragile. Oh, it's 141gms .

I tried one I bought from excel sports in Boulder on sale for $135.00 last month, and it was a 2003 or 2004 model year with the cloth cover (2005 have a Lorcia cover) and I never really liked the feel ! Light 142 grams! I weigh 195# and didn't have any problem with it's durability during a half dozen rides. I switched back to a San Marco Aspide Night Train @ 149 grams and it has a much more flexible shell.

selle san marco era composite use.

Got one and going on 3 years, race use only for my mtn bike. u do need a good chamois with padding . not the most comfy but it works. mine is 126 grams ( i cut out the center from the underside for some needed pressure relief . i weight 135# , race expert, and with the longer races (over 30 miles), i start missing other saddles with more padding.
