    Rec. a wheel builder?

I'm looking to have a wheelset built...and I wouldn't trust my local shop to evan inflate my tires, so that means I'm looking at mail order.

Anyway, i'm thinking king ISO discs, Sapim CX-Ray or Laser spokes, or possibly even DT Supercomp, and Mavic 317, or whatever the new XC tubless rim is. I'm still not sure if I want to go stans or UST.

Can anyone suggest a good wheel builder, and also, how much should this wheel set me back? I need to know if i should return some xmas gifts to finance this

    thanks

    The BEST!

Dave Thomas (No not the Wendy's guy) is the best in the biz when it comes to custom wheel building.
Look around and see what I'm talking about.....
    his site is:
    http://www.speeddream.com
He built me a custom camo King and Valiant set several years ago and I've had no problems, haven't needed to touch them in any way.
Super patient and knows his stuff too. I talked with him about the optimum wheelset for over two hours over the phone on his dime before he built them.
Good luck, sounds like a sweet set o' wheels.

    I agree 100%.

Been riding my King ISO wheelset for over a year now. No broken spokes, no need to re-true them. Round, stiff and perfect.
