    New Bling from Boone Ti...

I just recived my new Boone Titanium Road Rings today!

Brett made me a set of 50/38T 130mm pinned rigs with new shifting bevels.

The 50T ring weighs 77g and the 38T rings 33g.
Both lighter than the FSA rings they will replace. I will post pictures and shifting report later this week if Hurricane Wilma does not blow us away......

    38T Road Ring
Both Shimnao Compatiable. Going on my FSA Team Carbon Cranks, the to my new FSA K-Force Carbon Road cranks. Alos using an Extralite HollowGold 9 (KMC X9 SL Ti Nitrade) chain with it for more bling!

Once I upgrade to 10 Speed DA or Camp, I will add an Extralite Cog 2 or 3 at 104 or 114g to loose some more weigh and even more bling!!

Those are sweet rings Dirt Boy - I've been thinking about having Brett doing a set for my FSA Carbon Superlight cranks but ended up with a 50T TA Hegoa instead. Now I regret doing that.

    They took months...

Brett was just starting to do the ramps and pins on the road rings. he wanted to get it down also before shipping them. Boone as you might know is a Sponsor of Light-Bikes.com so you know how that goes... ...barter...
So I did not complain when I had to wait...

Also Brett and his wife had a child which helped so things down and he is using only 1 mill at this time to get these done. It's a wait but worth it in terms of bling!

I'm actually pretty lucky since the rings I have now are not worn out. Therefore I am really in no hurry to get my Boone chainrings. As long as I have time to get a few rides in with them before next race season starts I'm good to go.
