I like the frame. where did you order it? Obviously it could be lighter but hey, your happy and that is what is important. Like the little tires! Might need to look into a set of those if I opt to ride to work this summer.

i oredered the frame from the carbon cycles website. they do a range of components at very reasonable prices and very rarely receive a bad review for there price. i know the bike could have been a hell of a lot lighter but i never intended building the bike to be as light as possible, just components that i liked and ones that were in budget the tyres make a world of difference as i commute to work mon/fri and have the knobblys on for weekend rides. i didnt bother with suspension forks as the region where i live is ultra flat and my local trails have no use for suspension forks .

Since the main page wasn't loading right, I snuck into the forums clicking the direct link to one of my budgetlight builds... so seeing this in the new posts was ironic timing. I wonder if I have any frames right now suitable for a budgetlight build.

Reasonably light and reasonably affordable is my kind of combination! Can you add weights of the Carbon Exotic stuff?
    Have fun!

Who are you racing to work?

I am a bit confused by the 36 hole carbon rims on a road/commuter build, and are you always spinning out of gear with those little chainrings?
The wheel is a extension of the foot
