Caution; Merge; Workers Ahead! maybe a big problem!?

    hey,
WOW THIS BIKE IS THE GREATEST. finally the build is done and I took it on it's christening today in 20 degree weather cuz i could not wait. Thankfully i was only on the road. I was about 1 mile in when all of the sudden my pedal did not snap or break out of the cranks but came out with my shoe atached to the pedal. None of the pedal is actually broken but i think the crank threads or pedal threads might be stripped. I have fsa carbon team issue cranks and xpedo pedals that are not ti spindles. I have not made any modifications to the spindles for lower Q factor or any of that just stock everything.

    ANY SUGGESTIONS

I am too happy to be pissed though. I went from a 31 pound jamis dakar to a 23 pound hardtail and am the happiest guy on earth. The difference is amazing.

Thanks for all of your previous posts to help me and help in the future.

    We want pictures!

As for the pedal thing... sounds like you cross threaded it. I did that with my old bike when I first got my egg beaters, luckily it was only like 15 bucks for a new crank arm(OEM shimano square).

You may be lucky and be able to get the thread in your crank 'tapped', if you ripped the threads out(like I did), then you can either try to helicoil it or get a new crank arm.

Let hope it's not the latter.
