The scene: New York, wet weather is here...occasional freezing, expecting snow this winter. Thus, hardpack some days, mud others, occasional snow. BUT, I tend to ride the hard pack/ slushy days.
Right now I run Hutch Python Air Lites...I enjoy the light weight, handling. They are run with Stans No-Tubes. Given the wet trails lately, the minimul tread gets packed and I am left with a "baldie"...no grip, no corner bite. On my SS I have Scorpion Air Lites...better grip/ deeper tread.
I want to replace the Python for the winter...What is a good choice? LIGHT WEIGHT? Kenda BG's? Scorpion Lites? New Python's with the added side tread?
