    Lightweight tires?

The scene: New York, wet weather is here...occasional freezing, expecting snow this winter. Thus, hardpack some days, mud others, occasional snow. BUT, I tend to ride the hard pack/ slushy days.
Right now I run Hutch Python Air Lites...I enjoy the light weight, handling. They are run with Stans No-Tubes. Given the wet trails lately, the minimul tread gets packed and I am left with a "baldie" grip, no corner bite. On my SS I have Scorpion Air Lites...better grip/ deeper tread.
I want to replace the Python for the winter...What is a good choice? LIGHT WEIGHT? Kenda BG's? Scorpion Lites? New Python's with the added side tread?

I love my Kenda Karma DTC in summer but winter I like Specialized Rollx because they have good sized knobs. I use the cheaper Pro versions...but they do have soft compound versions that should work better in winter than the standard compound.

The Rollx pro weighs about 570grams each and work well with stan's setup.
